Summer Temperatures
Our Summer season is generally May to October.
- In the early Summer months (May and June) the temperatures are still cool (50-65 F day time, mid-30’s F night time) but the days are becoming warm and sunny. Spring showers still linger in the forecast well in to June.
- Mid-Summer (July and August) temperatures range in the day time from 75-85 F down into the 40-50 F at night. It is not uncommon to spend a summer evening watching the spectacular thunderstorms rising over the Crater Lake area.
- Towards the end of summer (September-October) the camp temperatures can range between the 60-85 F day time temp. and the lower 30’s as winter approaches. The transition from Indian Summer to Early Winter can afford dynamic seasonal color change of the forest foliage but you may also expect early winter storms during this period.
